ICT Accepting Nominations for Raymond Mauk Award

The Insurance Council of Texas (ICT) is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Raymond Mauk Leadership Award. The award is named after former Texas Fire Commissioner Raymond Mauk and honors an individual who has made a notable contribution to the Texas property and casualty insurance industry.

ICT will present the award at its 27th annual Property and Casualty Insurance Symposium, held July 11-12, 2019, in Austin. This marks the 21st year that the award has been given.

Nominees should be individuals who have made a difference for the industry, their employer, the regulation of insurance, the routine business of the industry in Texas, or ICT or its predecessor organizations. These individuals can be active or retired company employees, regulators, agents, elected officials, educators, or anyone connected with the Texas property and casualty industry.

Nominations should be sent to rpaniccia@insurancecouncil.org by Friday, April 5, 2019, and should include a brief explanation as to why the person should be considered for the award.
