SLTX’s Mitchell to Participate in Automation Panel

Tara Mitchell, SLTX Vice President of ITS, will participate in the ePayPolicy Industry Digital Payment Automation Panel at the upcoming 2019 WSIA Automation Conference. The conference, held in Orlando, Florida, from March 17-20, 2019, is a forum for those impacted by automation to explore, learn, and network with their peers.

The payment automation panel will be presented during vendor showcases on Tuesday, March 19, at 2:30 pm. Mitchell will be joined by Chris Sylvester, CIO of XS Brokers, and Robyn Landin, Sr. Vice President of Superior Underwriters, to discuss the value of digital payments, address the industry’s biggest concerns, and share how businesses are perceiving the new digital option.

As part of its large-scale technology initiative, SLTX began supporting automated payments in March of 2018. The ability to accept electronic invoice payments has allowed SLTX to collect fees more quickly and has improved user accessibility.

“Since launching our automated payments, we’ve seen about a 60% adoption rate, which has significantly reduced our accounting team’s workload with accounts receivable,” Mitchell said. “This has been a positive result, as we were an early adopter of this technology in our space.”
