Survey Gives Insight into Risk Manager Perspectives
Maintaining communication and being proactive are a few key factors that brokers can do to improve relationships with risk managers, according to a new survey by Insurance Business America.
The Risk Managers on Brokers survey asked risk managers, “What could your broker do better for you?” Risk managers responded by urging brokers to be more innovative and providing opportunities to improve existing coverage. Others recommended the use of data analytics to assess needs.
Follow-through and customer service are also important to risk managers, according to the survey. Respondents want to be able to sustain a long-term risk management strategy, despite agency turnover or newer staff members.
