Pearson VUE, the testing service used by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to complete licensing exams, has announced it will close its U.S.- and Canada-based testing centers from March 17, 2020, until April 16, 2020, in response to the potential spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Those who have already scheduled exams during this period will receive a refund or an extension as determined by the exam sponsor. A statement from Pearson VUE said the company will work with individuals to reschedule exams as soon as it is safe to resume test delivery, on or after April 16, 2020. Registration for new exam appointments will not be available until April 16, 2020.
